The blog name is Feature Shoot with a font design very connected to
today's contemporary artistic style. The journalist who posted the artist
information and pictures is named Elyssa Goodman. The design of the blog is
very inviting for the visitors allowing easy access to current and popular
post. The layout emphasizes in the photos and not so much in the rhetorical
aspect of the photo. This allows the viewer to concentrate in the photo and
draw his/her conclusion without intervention of opinionated critics. The blog
in general gives raw images of the real human condition by exposing what we
sometimes oversee. Elyssa Goodman wrote the specific article from which I
capture this image of two gay men. The photographer is Lauren Renner and her
objective was to explore self-identity with stereotype. All her models where
written stereotypes that they have been subject to. I was interested in this
article because it is the first of its kind that I have seen that exposes
stereotypes at its most inmate form. I love the photographer's idea of writing
down stereotypes on its models skin representing what they have internalize as their
truth. To read more about this blog and article click here.
