Week 1

During our first class, we reviewed the syllabus, took a tour of the lab facilities, the 3rd Floor Checkout in the Journalism department, and walked over to view the Faculty show in the Art Building. I also introduced blogger. You will need a google account in order to log in to Blogger (your myleo account will work) for the duration of this course. Please email me your google account / email if you haven't already: kristina.smith@tamuc.edu. I need this in order to make you an authorized user for the course blog.

Some new items for this semester. We will have a course blog and a course dropbox where you will be submitting assignments.

Your assignments for this week are as follows:

• Read over the syllabus and procure materials
• Email me your email and blogger account username, in order to get into the blog
• Complete the "Obsessive Collections" Assignment
